RAWALPINDI, Jul 27 (APP):Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid on Saturday met with
Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider in Murree and gave a detailed briefing about BISP.

sic facilities, the governor said adding, millions of deserving families are benefiting from BISP.
Benazir Income Support Programme is best way to provide financial assistance to the people living below poverty line, he added.
The scope of BISP should further be expanded so that more deserving families could benefit from the programme, Sardar Saleem Haider said.
The
Governor said that the difficulties being faced by the women registered under the BISP particularly in rural and far-flung areas in getting financial assistance should be removed.
The Chairperson informed that under the Benazir Income Support Programme, merit-based financial assistance is being provided to the beneficiaries across the country.
